From the moment you arrive, you’ll be immersed in a captivating mystery, becoming part of the story as you mingle with colourful characters and uncover clues to solve the ultimate puzzle.
It’s Saturday, 22nd November 1929, and Palmers Peak Productions is delighted to invite you to a launch party for a new moving picture, A Home For Heroes. This event marks the release of the very first ‘talking’ picture produced by the studio, creating a buzz of excitement. You will mingle with renowned silent movie stars, writers, and directors, with a possible opportunity to audition for a role in the actual picture. Guests are encouraged to look the part – think old Hollywood!
Meet Mr. David Armstrong, distinguished writer and director; Miss Pauline Astor, ‘the darling’ of the silent era; Mr. Guy Portland, a true ‘matinee idol’; Miss Fiona Turner, glamour personified; Stevie Eccles, the doyen of the dance floor; and Miss Kelly Arthur, young, ambitious, and very beautiful. Beneath the surface of glamour and excitement, petty jealousies, deep-seated resentments, dark threats, and murderous intentions rise. Listen carefully, observe intently, and assist our intrepid inspector in this full-blooded night of murder, mystery, and intrigue. Question the suspects, scrutinise the evidence, and compete to be the first to unravel the motives and solve the crime.
Indulge in a 3-course set menu, meticulously prepared to enhance your evening. A glass of prosecco will be provided upon arrival.
Guests start to arrive at 7:00 PM, and the murder mystery unfolds throughout the dining experience. The experience will finish around 10:30.
